Word in Action church is about people! We believe that the hope of this world is the local church. What is our definition of “church”? We would say the church is the people of God equipped with His Word, empowered by His Spirit and motivated by His love. We believe that we as the church are the answer for a lost and dying world.
Our vision is simple. We encourage every member to be the minister that Eph 4 12 says they are. In every place that God has set us as the body of Christ we are to LOVE GOD SERVE PEOPLE and LOVE LIFE. That’s what lies at the core of everything we do.
Our prayer is that you will find the teaching relevant and practical, the worship infectious and meaningful, the fellowship warm and inviting and more than anything else, the Lord’s hand on everything we do. We have a community to impact, a city to save and a nation to change. To paraphrase the Word of God – If it was just us endeavouring to do this …there’s no way…but with God at the center of it ….there is no way we can fail. We’ve got a place for you!
